MYANMAR CLASSIC - 03 Nights / 04 Days

Day 1: Yangon: Upon arrival to YANGONAirport, you will be welcomed by guide & your journey begins with a tour through Yangon’s city. Visit SULE PAGODA dating back over 2000 years. Proceed then to the magnificent reclining Buddha CHAUK HTAT GYI. After a photo stop at the KRAWEIK HALL on Kandawgyi (Royal) Lake, stall through BOGYOKE (SCOTT’S) MARKET (closed on Monday’s and public holidays) with hundreds of food, clothes, handicrafts and gems stores. Complete your Yangon impressions with an extended visit to one of the world’s most spectacular monuments, the SHWEDAGON PAGODA. Overnight stay in Yangon.

Day 2: Yangon-Mandalay: After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for domestic flight to MANDALAY, upon arrival at MandalayAirport; you will be welcomed by your guide and drive to Amarapura, 15 km from Mandalay. Visit MAHAGANDAYON, a famous Buddhist Monastery; continue to the 200-year-old U BEIN teak bridge built in 1782. Visit BAGAYA MONASTERY with a superb collection of Buddha statues. After lunch at a local restaurant, continue to the former Royal capital of INWA reached by a short boat trip. The visit by horse-drawn carriage includes the NANMYINT WATCH TOWER, also called the leaning tower of Ava, the only remains of the old palace building, MAHA AUNGMYE BONZAN MONATERY built of brick and stucco & BARGAYAR MONASTERY, famous for its impressive ornate woodcarvings & teak posts. Continue to SAGAING HILLS, a retreat for Buddhist devotees for sunset. Overnight stay in Mandalay.

Day 3: Mandalay: After breakfast, transfer to the jetty for an excursion by boat on the AYEYARWADDY RIVER to MINGUN about 11 km upriver from Mandalay. Your visit will start with the MINGUN BELL, a sticking sight of the world’s largest un-cracked bell weighing 90 tons, & will continue with HSINBYUME PAYA as well as the unfinished MINGUN PAYA built as one of the world’s largest stupas by King Bodaw Paya. Return to Mandalay by boat & the rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight stay in Mandalay.

Day 4: Mandalay-Yangon: After breakfast, transfer to Airport for domestic flight to YANGON. Upon arrival, visit the KABA AYE PAGODA. After the visit, proceed to Yangon’s oldest Chinese temple & continue to the riverside located BOTATAUNG PAGODA, Golden Lion Throne as well as the Mandalay Royal regalia at the NATIONAL MUSEUM. Afterwards, transfer to YangonAirport for your international departure flight.
